Testing
There are several elements to good testing of a project. The first is functional testing
where general operation and correct outputs are compared with expected results. This
involves simple tests to ensure that every element of the software behaves as expected from
the destination of a hyperlink to the results of a filtered query. It also tests that
any output is correct. Calculated output must sometimes be compared with hand calculations
and a good understanding of the expected result.
The second element tests the solution against the original specification to ensure that
all elements have been included as required.
The final element tests the final solution against the business requirements to ensure
that business needs are being fulfilled. Victor Consulting bring considerable expertise
to each of these elements. Obviously all solution that we produce are thoroughly tested
but we can also help a client test solutions provided by other suppliers in all
three elements.
