About Us
Victor Consulting Limited was formed in 2003 by directors Rob Smith and David Lewington
to enable them to help businesses benefit from the growth and efficiency potential
available to them with the right IT solution.
Initially Rob and David recognised that many business owners did not realise how
much more effective they could become if they were able to make full use of the
great technologies available from Microsoft. This is how it began.
Once they started to help their clients get the most from Microsoft Office they
found other key needs emerging and were inundated with requests for database, web
site and intranet solutions. Victor Consulting has grown to support our customers’
requirement and provide answers to all their most important questions.
Our business and the way we work with our clients is based on our
core set of values.
Rob Smith
Rob has over 20 years experience within the software industry and
has worked for major software companies including Microsoft and Autodesk. Robs’
strong business analysis skills are one of the main keys to the companies’ success.
Robs’ ability to explore your businesses’ requirements and understand exactly what
you want to achieve is fundamental to his ability to offer the best advice on how
to employ technology to achieve commercial goals.
David Lewington
David also has more than 20 years experience within the Information
Technology industry, developing applications with a number of different development
tools. He has concentrated on implementing user interfaces that are both intuitive
and efficient to use. David’s strength is in his ability to understand the business
processes from a user’s perspective. Ease of use is an essential part of the design
and development of any IT solution and another important key to our success.
